They Might Be Giants -- Teaser

In the spirit of Hoosiers and Hoop Dreams, we are producing a cinema verite-style documentary that tells the story of one of the best D3 teams in the country, the Fighting Scots of the College of Wooster, as they battle their way through the 2012-2013 season in search of the ultimate title – the only one that has eluded them to date: The D3 National Championship.

Visit www.theymightbegiantsfilm.com for more information.

Jeff Golub -- Teaser

This is a short teaser for an upcoming documentary feature film about contemporary jazz guitarist, Jeff Golub.

Jeff Golub is a contemporary jazz guitarist with 11 solo albums and 3 CD's as the leader of the instrumental band "Avenue Blue". Before becoming an instrumentalist, Golub worked as a sideman to a number of very successful rock and pop artists. He is probably best known for his stint with  Rod Stewart from 1988 - 1995.

In the summer of 2011, Jeff's life changed significantly when he suddenly lost his sight. This is the story of his struggle to learn to live his life without the use of his eyes, and the role of music, family, and friends in helping to accomplish the myriad obstacles presented with every new day.

Shot on RED Scarlet.

Things I Don't Remember

A Drive Through Iceland

I shot these scenics in Iceland after a long production trip with Insignia Films. I was working as second camera on "Constitution USA with Peter Sagal," which will air on PBS on May 14 and 21, 2013. After the rest of the crew flew back to the states, I stayed and spent one intense day driving the coast.

Special thanks to Árni Björn Helgason of Sagafilm, who helped me map out the route.
